My name is Angela I’m a friend of the Normand family and helping to try and lighten the load for this family by allowing them to take the time to grieve after the sudden loss of Erik.
A few words from the family…
Life can change in an instant, we are heartbroken to share the passing of a truly remarkable man, Erik Normand. He was more than a husband-he was a provider, dad, brother, uncle, son, and a friend.
Erik had a passion for fishing and spent his whole life spending weekends with his wife, kids and friends by the river side where his heart was full.
Erik worked tirelessly as the yard manager at Rona, where he was admired not just for his leadership, but his kindness, humour and the way he treated everyone with respect.
Now, with his sudden passing, his wife Julie has been left in unimaginable pain and heartbreak. Not only has she lost her best friend and partner, but she is now facing financial struggles that she cannot handle alone. With no money set aside, she is left wondering how to cover funeral expenses and simply how to survive day-to-day in the wake of this devastating loss.
No one should have to choose between grieving their loved one and worrying how they will keep the lights on or put food on the table. This is why we are asking for your help.
Every dollar raised will go directly to Julie and the kids to help with funeral cost, bills and the basic necessities of life as she tries to find her footing again.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
