Buck$ 4 Jordan
Donation protected
In November 2013, Jordan was diagnosed with Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria (PNH), which is a rare disease of the blood. Characteristics of PNH are destruction of red blood cells, blood clots, and impaired bone marrow function. Since then, Jordan has been receiving weekly or bi-monthly transfusions of Soliris (over $27,000 per treatment) with the hope that it would improve his platelet/hemoglobin counts. On August 19, 2014, Jordan and his family were told the devastating news that he would require a bone marrow transplant by the end of this year, and a match must be found. The bone marrow transplant will be curative, but first he will have a lengthy hospital stay and will be unable to work for a year or more during his recovery. Any and all donations would be greatly appreciated!
