Fiji Natural Disaster Re-builds

Hello!! My name is Emma, and I will be volunteering in a project set in Fiji this Summer, July/August; with two sites on the island, in Vivili and Naweni, which were severley affected by Cyclone Winston last year.

The project is to design and re-build the Community Hall in Vivili and build a Nurse station and Nursery in Naweni. We will be using the latest natural disaster design guidances - to help re-create a safe and secure place for the local people to enjoy and use.

The project is running with CA.UK.IN who've led similar projects in the past (Check out their past successes here - www.caukinstudio.com).

All donation money going toward the project material costs, home stays/food and tool costs -  I will be paying for my own flights/transport! Any money not used in the project I will be donating to shelterbox.org (who supply survival boxes/shelter/tools to those going through crisises and natural disasters).

Thank you so much for your help, I'll be updating you with photos/videos of progress when I can! I'm incredibly grateful to anyone who donates any amount!  I hope you have a great day!
