Support Jacqueline's Journey to Healing

Hi, my name is Jacqueline Montalvo. I am 34 years old and a mother to three young children: Luis (10), Jayleen (8), and Laylanni (7). In February 2023, I received the heartbreaking news that I have stage four invasive lobular breast cancer. The cancer has spread to both of my breasts, my ovaries, bones, one lung, and my spine. Since then, I have undergone numerous intravenous treatments and radiation therapy to fight this disease.

Recently, I faced another devastating challenge: the toll of the cancer has triggered an autoimmune disease called CIDP (Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy), which I now must battle alongside the cancer.

I have started a new treatment plan for both conditions, but unfortunately, my insurance does not cover the costs. The out-of-pocket expenses have become overwhelming, and I find myself in an incredibly difficult position. I have worked full-time throughout my illness to provide for my children, but I may have to stop treatments that could possibly save my life and give me more time with them.

As I write this, it’s hard to hold back my tears. I never imagined my life would take this turn. Asking for help is difficult for me, but I am reaching out in hopes of finding the support I desperately need. Any donation, no matter how small, would mean the world to my family and me.
