JESSICA AVALLONE

Dear friends,

Good day. This fundraiser has been initiated for our friend and colleague Jessica Avallone who can benefit from the support of her friends as a result of the unfortunate circumstances which occurred in late January.

Jessica has been waiting quite a long time to hear if she'll be eligible for unemployment benefits and unfortunately missed out on receiving her union signing bonus. Needless to say, she's feeling the financial strain.

Most of you know that Jessica is an Italian immigrant who followed her dream by coming to the USA, working diligently to build a life here for her two sons and to live the American dream. She found a career that she loved and successfully was able to buy her new home here in NY. Jessica was also the President (and Chapter Founder) of the EBRG Italian Chapter which involved community outreach projects and fundraising events including spreading awareness and embracing the inclusion of employees from all walks of life.

JESSICA IS NOT AWARE that we are doing this fundraiser for her, so please let's exercise discretion until we hopefully reach our goal. At that time, we will present her with the donation. She has way too much pride but let's face it, if the tables were turned wouldn't we be grateful if our colleagues and friends supported us during our time of need?

Please consider donating to help with her groceries, bills and her living expenses. Any amount will be appreciated. Jessica is a very warm and selfless human being with a heart of gold and deserves all the support she can get during this difficult time.
