Emergency surgery for Raffy
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Leoni and I’m seeking any amount of financial help for my beautiful pup, Raffy. We rescued Raffy when he was 4 months old and have since been faced with extensive vet bills, leading to our current insurance allowance being maxed out. Raffy now needs emergency surgery for his elbow dysplasia, but it being an extremely complicated case it is well beyond our financial means. Raffy needs two different procedures in order to prevent further, ongoing issues and to prevent any discomfort. This will also help delay any potential onset of arthritis. After already spending thousands of pounds on our little rescue angel, we would be grateful for any support on the upcoming costs of his next two surgeries so that we can get him sorted as soon as possible. We would be so grateful for any contributions to help us give him the happiest of lives, as waiting until his insurance renewal is not an option for health purposes. Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity, our lovely boy would be so grateful.
Cost breakdown:
£800 initial X-ray (paid)
£1850 further CT scans (paid)
£3400 for 2 procedures (a removal of a fragment and also realignment and cutting of a leg bone)
Unconfirmed costs (estimated around £1,200):
- calming medication
- pain relief medication
- hospitalisation during recovery
