Emergency Neurologist Visit for Doodle

Hi guys, my name is Tayla Blake. Doodle is my 4 year old Dachshund. If you know me, you know Doodle is my absolute best bud, baby, and pride and joy. He’s recently been in and out of the ER. The vets aren’t entirely sure what’s wrong with him, and unfortunately can’t treat him at a local animal hospital. Doodle isn’t able to stand, walk, or hold himself up at this point in time. Tomorrow morning at 8am Doodle was scheduled for an emergency neurological visit. The doctor told me the cost would be around $7000 for all the tests that are needed to be ran, including all the costs of medicine, and frequent visits that are happening. I know it’s crazy, I wouldn’t even pay $7000 for a doctor visit for myself, but Doodle is so worth it in my eyes. I want him around for a long time and if it means having to pay an arm and a leg I am more than willing to do so. Being that I don’t have $7000 at my disposal I’m setting up this go fund me. Update: We just got back from his visit, and they are sure there’s something unusual going on with his little brain. Being that we weren’t able to access the funds from go fund me today on June 10, they now aren’t able to perform the necessary MRI’s and scans on him till June 23. Thank you again for everyone who has contributed and reached out. I just know Doodle will be better soon. Will update again when I have any more information.
