Emergency funds for Maui residents

On August 8, 2023, a mixture of severe winds and drought lead to devastating wild fires in West Maui. The town of Lahaina has experienced the extremes of these fires with nearly all businesses, the harbor, and homes destroyed leaving residents without resources or any belongings.

This fundraiser is for our dear friend, Jenna Allen, and her roommates Amy and Julia, who were emergency evacuated from their home in Lahaina historic district. Their house has burned to the ground along with all of their possessions. Jenna, Amy, and Julia have worked on sailing excursions and local businesses in Lahaina the past 4 years. They love their community, the island, and have experienced unbelievable loss in just 48 hours.

Funds will be used for food, clothing, pet supplies, accommodation, and other essentials as they figure out their next steps. Please consider donating whatever you can support to help Amy, Jenna, and Julia through this transition.

There are many families and people in need in West Maui. Please also look into other community relief efforts if you feel called to do so❤️
