On June 24, 2026, two massive back-to-back earthquakes (magnitudes 7.2 and 7.5) struck Venezuela, devastating Caracas, La Guaira, and surrounding regions. Hundreds of people are still trapped beneath collapsed buildings, and time is running out.

Local rescue teams and brave civilian volunteers are working around the clock in the rubble, risking their lives to pull survivors to safety. But the reality on the ground is grim: they desperately lack the basic tools and protective gear needed to operate safely and effectively.
