Medical Expenses Donation

Nick and Amy Babbitt (both armed force veterans) of Chesterton noticed seizures in their 3 month old daughter Elliott in early August. A visit to Northwest (aka Porter) hospital turned into a stay at Beacon Hospital (South Bend) and a transfer via ambulance to Cincinnati Hospital in Ohio. It took weeks to get the seizures under control but without clear answers. Elliott is having genetic testing for definitive answers. All the while requiring frequent follow-ups in Ohio to monitor her during her course of treatments: a slew of medications to stop the seizure activity.
