Ellie's 25" Swimathon to Lourdes!

Hello! I’m Eleanor, I’m hoping to raise funds to support my journey to Lourdes as a volunteer this summer. Having discounted the usual cakebake days, and sponsored silence, I’m excited to share that I’ll be swimming the length of the channel in the coming months!

As I am not quite brave enough to do the actual channel, i'll be doing the equivalent distance in my local pool.. all 21 miles.

I've been inspired to go to Lourdes as two of my close friends went last summer, where they spoke about the deep connections they made with the people they helped; especially those who are very ill and are suffering.

I’d like to be part of something meaningful, to offer support and compassion to those in need, and to grow personally through such an incredible opportunity.
