Rachel Grace Scholarship fund

Rachel Grace Pigott, 19, was killed in an automobile accident on September 1st, 2014 (Labor Day) on her way back to the University of Montevallo. We are raising money to fund a scholarship in her honor.Rachel's short life along with her diminutive stature are in no way representative of the huge life that she lived and the impact that she made on everyone she came in contact with. Her beautiful blue eyes and contagious smile, framed by her locks of curls, portrayed a young lady attractive to all. However, the depth of her beauty could only be seen in the way she treated her fellow man. She was a living testimony of her faith and her love for God. Even passersby in her life knew she was a special young lady.Rachel spent her primary years in Elberta schools and graduated from Foley High School in 2013. She was a life-long runner, cheerleader and dancer. Rachel was a sophomore in the Honors College at the University of Montevallo, pursuing a degree in Elementary Education. (Rachel was on track to graduate in only three years!) Continuing her active lifestyle, she was a member of the Falcons cross-country team and Delta Gamma sorority where she was Director of Social Events. Please donate to help fund the Rachel Grace Pigott Scholarship!
