CORY FIGHTS HAND INFECTION
Donation protected
Cory Herendeen is my grandson-in-law, married to my granddaughter Megan Herendeen. December 1, 2015, Cory was admitted to Jackson Hospital, and diagnosed with Left Hand Cellulitis. The infection became life-threatening as it spread throughout his blood system. Cory lost function and strength of his left hand. Despite extensive physical therapy, he continued to have complications. He was off work without pay for three weeks, and had attempted to return to work with restrictions. Due to the complications, Cory was readmitted to Jackson Hospital on January 8, 2016. He underwent Left Hand Surgery and a bone biopsy for probable Osteomyelitis (infection in bone). Cory is receiving continuous IV therapy at home for 4-6 weeks, and will be off work without pay. He is a logger by trade. His medical expenses and loss of income presents a financial burden. Cory and Megan are expecting their firstborn child, a daughter, Rilynn Harper Herendeen, due March 5, 2016. Pray God will heal and bless Cory with a full recovery. This young family would be blessed by donations during their hardship.
