Tumor Surgery

Ryan E. Flores served in the U.S. Marines from 1997-2003. After 3 tours in Operation Iraqi Freedom and an Honorable discharge, Ryan returned to his home to start a family and earn a college degree. Ryan earned a Bachelor's Degree in short time in the field of education but immediately went to work for the U.S. Post Office. He has dutifully worked in Rio Hondo, TX as a transitional employee without health/medical benefits and the other great opportunities of career postal employees. Just this past February, a motorist failed to yield the right of way and totaled his truck. Luckily, Ryan survived the crash with minor injuries. During the course of examining him from the crash, a large tumor was detected in a CT scan. The size was substantial enough to require immediate removal. He continued to work, up to the day of his surgery, but requests for a sick leave advance were not been approved. It is not certain how his family will survive this peroid without his income. He is expected to be out of work 6 weeks. Every bit will make a difference!
Thank You.
