As some of you may know already, my mother has been suffering with anorexia since she was 11 years old. 43 years. Anorexia has the highest mortality rate of any mental disorder. It's a miracle she's made it this long. 

I am starting this gofundme if hopes of getting her the best treatment possible. There is a treatment facility out of state we are hoping to send her to. This would cover the costs of treatment for 10 weeks (therapy, food, supplements) ,airfare and her lodging.

 Poor health insurance has made it impossible for her to stay anywhere long enough for any treatment to be successful . Health insurance only covers so much. As soon as any progress is made, she is turned away and told her insurance will not cover any more. This facility will not turn her away. However, it is also not covered by her insurance.

She has had many medical conditions due to this disorder. Anxiety, depression,  Osteoporosis, colon resections, electrolyte imbalances, deficiency with several vitamins, fluid around the heart, trouble with her mood and concentration. She's lost all her teeth and struggles with denture due to bone lose in her jaw.

Recently, it was brought to my attention that her health has gotten much more serious now than I had initially thought. 

I've already lost my father and I'm going to do whatever it takes to keep my mother as long as I can.
This could be our last chance and she needs all the love and support she can get.
