Hello, my name is Monika González-Hermosillo, and together with Maria Luisa Dingler we are trying to raise funds to help the Rodelo Sanchez family.

Azucena, Lizuly and Kemil are triplets that were born in a very low-income village in Sapioriz, in the state of Durango, Mexico. The triplets, who are now 3 years old, were born prematurely and had to spend a long time in an incubator at birth. The babies were fully blinded given their eyes were not protected properly in the incubator, in addition to many other medical issues that require treatment. One of the girls, Azucena, requires hip surgery.

The kids live with their grandmother and mother, who is not able to work as taking care of her kids takes up most of her time. Additionally, the dad left the family at the birth of the triplets.

All funds raised will go toward food, clothes, medicine, therapies that are critical to the kids, and the transportation costs to get to their medical appointments in a different city.

All contributions are greatly appreciated and may change this family’s life.

Hola, mi nombre es Monika González-Hermosillo y junto con Maria Luisa Dingler estoy buscando recaudar fondos para ayudar sacar adelante a la familia Rodelo Sánchez.

Azucena, Lizuly y Kemil son trillizos de muy bajos recursos nacidos en el Ejido Sapioriz de Durango, México. Los trillizos, que ahora tienen 3 años, nacieron prematuros y tuvieron que pasar mucho tiempo incubados. Debido a que no se les protegieron correctamente los ojos en la incubadora, los bebés quedaron completamente cegados y tienen muchos otros problemas de salud que requieren atención médica. Una de las niñas, Azucena, necesita una cirugía de cadera.

Los niños viven con su abuela y su mamá, quien no puede trabajar debido a que los cuidados de sus hijos toman la mayor parte de su tiempo. La familia fue abandonada por el padre al nacer los trillizos.

Todos los fondos recaudados se utilizarán para alimentos, ropa, medicamentos, terapias y el transporte hacia la ciudad de Torreón donde son atendidos los niños.
