Dwayne Ratza Memorial

This week, we were saddened by the unexpected news that one of our drivers and friends, Dwayne Ratza, had passed away. Dwayne lived in Seymour, IN with his wife. He was also a father of 2 and had 1 grandson. He was an army veteran, and loved to work on his tractor and garden. Dwayne was our in house, self-trained meteorologist. He always kept us up to date on the rain and cloud coverage, and when it would be good weather for us to have cookouts. He had an impressive amount of pride for his home state of Michigan. Dwayne joined the SILC team in 2017 and had previously driven regional for Celadon for many years. He was a very skilled driver and his dedication to our operation and customers was apparent. You could always count on him to be direct and honest, and his fun personality elevated any team he was a part of. We will miss Dwayne dearly and want to show his family our love and support through this difficult time. We appreciate any donations you can share to help them through this transition.
