Durham Family Needs Aid After Flood

My sister Shadell(Marie) Stukes, a single mother of 3, lost everything in a flood last night during Tropical Storm Chantal. She lives in Durham near the Eno River. Apparently, a dam broke, causing the river to surge to over 25ft more than the normal height. Unfortunately, her apartment complex was in the flooding area. Her and the two oldest kids that were home were woken up by the fire department and had to evacuate immediately. They didn't know the water was already flooding their floor. Unable to grab any extra items, they had to trudge through disgusting, waist-deep flood water with just their phones to get to higher ground. Luckily, and thankful for those firemen who got them out before the water got even higher. She is one of the hardest working people I know, and she is very proud. So, I'm asking for anyone who can help to help, not just my sister but anyone in the Durham or NC area that are affected and even the Texas area. She has a long rebuild journey ahead of her. We would appreciate any help that is given. All proceeds will go directly to her.
