Our friend and colleague Doug Schroeder passed away suddenly this morning (3/09/2018). We all loved Doug and miss him greatly! SolutionStream will be giving all donations to his wife and kids for living expenses and funeral costs. We will be passing these donations to them while we work with the family during these hard times.
Obituary:
Douglas Michael Schroeder, 41, of Pleasant Grove, Utah passed away unexpectedly on March 9, 2018. Doug was born August 17, 1976 in Arlington Heights, Illinois to Bradley and Ginger Schroeder. He graduated from University of Illinois at Chicago with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science.
Doug moved to Florida shortly after graduation. He married Crystal Morehouse on March 8, 2014. In 2016, they moved their family to Utah to build a new and adventurous life with their children. His family was his greatest joy and his four boys were the center of his world. Doug’s smile could light up a room and he was known for his infectious humor and love of fun. Doug was passionate about sports and even coached his son’s baseball team.
Doug is survived by his wife Crystal; his four sons, Dylan, Nathan, Ryker, and Landon; his parents, Bradley and Ginger Schroeder; his sister Jennifer and her husband, David; and his many uncles, aunts, cousins, and dear friends.
A wake will be held on Thursday, March 15, 2018 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at Glueckert Funeral Home in Arlington Heights, Illinois. A memorial service will be held at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Arlington Heights at 11:00 AM, followed by a luncheon, also at St. Peter.
