Hi my name is Amy and this is my fur baby Doris. Doris is a short legged staff x old tyme bulldog, she is super loving and a bull of energy. I have created this page to try and raise some money for my fur babies operation.

Doris was taken to the vet today struggling to walk on her back leg, initially I had thought being the big girl she is that she had given herself a dead leg from lying on it funny, sadly I was mistaken and after taking her to the vet I was informed Doris had dislocated her back right leg and would need a Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy. The cost of this operation being £4000, immediately my heart sunk Doris has insurance however is only covered for £1000 per condition, when this was discussed with her vet I had queried if a payment plan option was available and what they could offer was paying £1500 upfront on the day of surgery and the remaining paid over 3 months or suggested trying a few different charities or go fund me. I’ve never had to resort to anything like this but Im desperate to get my princess the treatment she needs as soon as I can, I wish I had educated myself more on the cost of veterinary procedures and taken out a higher premium however that is not my situation right now and I need to deal with the present, any help would be truly truly appreciated!
