Doreen and Steve

My name is Tiffany DeSabato, and I am the cousin to Doreen Cardinale and her husband Steve. 

As most of you know, Dee and Steve were on their way from Las Vegas to Pittsburgh to start their new lives to be with family. They just had a brand new granddaughter, Adeline Marie that they were excited to be here for the birth of however, life had other plans for them. 

Dee and Steve ended up spending one month in a New Mexico hospital after the horrific accident that they were in. Dee ended up losing her leg, having reconstructive surgery on her arm, along with breaking her neck and back. Her husband Steve has a broken neck, back, shoulder and ribs. The fact that they are alive is next to AMAZING. They also lost their Kitty Ann in the accident. I was lucky enough to find their baby Tabby who I currently have at my house and she is the sweetest!

The road ahead will no doubt be long, I find it fitting to start a “Go Fund Me” page for them so we can have their bills paid, and make their house handicap accessible. My cousin is not used to sitting still! She has been a Kohl’s employee for over 20 years and is looking forward to getting back to “normal...”whatever that may look like moving forward. 

Any donation that you could give would be greatly appreciated. No dollar amount is too small! After all, we need to get her up and moving as quickly as we can. 

I know Dee and Steve have touched many lives so I’m hoping we can help them out to get Dee back on her feet as quickly as possible!!
