Hey Y'all! My name is Sara I’m 37 years old, a mom to 2 amazing kids (Patrick 14, Lexi 8) and I have the best family and friends a woman could possibly ask for!!!

While I was taking time off work to deal with some of my son’s mental health issues, I had the time to catch up with my doctor about some health issues I had been putting off. My initial appointment was on June 21, 2024, and on July 15, 2024, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Squamous Small Cell Carcinoma with the primary tumor originating on my cervix. I started treatment on Aug 1, 2024, and just like the cancer, my treatment is very aggressive and leaves me unable to work.

My main goal is just to keep the kids' lives as normal as possible while we get through the 6-month wait for Disability, which will start in February. So many people have reached out asking, “how to help” or “does the family need anything,” and it can be a little nerve-racking trying to figure out which “need” has priority, so I have come to the decision to make a GoFundMe.

My kids are my entire world and while they are dealing with this difficult transition and processing the big changes happening, I just want to make sure I do everything I can to make this as comfortable as it can be for them.
