Hello, friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

I am reaching out today to ask for your help in supporting my father,a Las Vegas native, Navy veteran, and loving father of two daughters and a gaggle of grandbabies, who has faced unimaginable hardship. Recently (12/07/2024), a devastating fire destroyed his motor home, which was his only means of transportation and shelter. Unfortunately, it was considered uninsurable by companies due to its age, leaving him with nothing. The fire started with him sleeping inside. By the grace of god he was able to get out with only a burn to the leg. He did however lose everything. The hardest losses have been his old family photos, military memorabilia and tokens from dear friends and loved ones who have moved on from this life. I have been working to find all that I can to reprint/order for him but would love help from anyone who is able to help locate articles ect that are from pre-tech days.

To make matters worse, he is unable to work due to a traumatic brain injury (TBI) and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), which make daily tasks and employment incredibly difficult. He survives on a very modest fixed income. This has placed an overwhelming financial burden on him, leaving him struggling to make ends meet. In 2023 we lost my grandmother and aunt back to back which took away nearly all of his local support system. Being 1500 miles away and facing my hardest financial year (as many others have this year) I am unable to help in a bigger way.

My goal is to help raise funds for a newer, safer motor home so that he can have a stable and safe place to live and a way to get around. A reliable motor home will provide him with safety, comfort , and the opportunity to rebuild his life after this tragic loss.
