Donate to Jovanni's Mission Trip to Baja California!

Hey guys!

My name is Jovanni, I am 21 year old servant of the Lord from the San Francisco Bay Area, and I need your help!

Born and raised in a first world country, where opportunity is abundant and few truly lack basic necessities or conditions, I am blessed to be in a position to share what I can with those who are less fortunate. Every year, I get to travel with Calvary Chapel to Mexico on missions trips to serve a poverty-stricken community and minister to those who are in need of encouragement, fellowship, and hope. Our outreach effort ultimately aims to bring the love of Christ to the lost and suffering, not just with physical food, but also spiritual.

For one week, (from June 28th to July 5th) I will go to the neighborhood of Homex in Palma Real, Baja California to volunteer in a summer day camp program for the children, invite the locals to join the church community there where they can receive support from brothers and sisters in Christ, share the Good News to those who have not heard, and feed the homeless. Being fluent in Spanish, I will also serve as a translator for those of my companions who might not understand or speak the language well, which will obviously be quite handy.

These journeys are not only spiritually gratifying for those who live in Homex, but also for myself and the handful of companions who will be going with me. I really enjoy my experiences on these missions trips and have it on my heart to travel to Baja California once more at the end of this month. The trip will cost me a total of $650, which will cover everything from transportation, food, a place to stay, and equipment such as Bibles, tracts, fliers, activities for the kids, etc. I can only partially afford the full cost this year, which is why I would be absolutely grateful for your donation!
