Hi, my name is Dave and I am best friends with Owen. I have known him from when we were both in our early teens when the chatty little fella was introduced into our group in the Wirral nearly 30 years ago. 3 years living together in Preston at university cemented our friendship and I was honoured to be his best man for his wedding and marriage to Lindsey in 2010. 2 beautiful girls later and his family in the North East of England was complete. Sadly, Owen was diagnosed with a brain tumour earlier this year. It has been classed as a glioblastoma, unfortunately the most aggressive form of brain cancer which is an advanced grade 4 stage and is incurable.

The original Wirral group, as well as University group of friends, have decided to set this fundraiser page up to reach target of £5000 to allow for Owen and his family to make some special memories together. The aim is to reach this target by end of August to enable the family to go away in Autumn 2024 and to use any remaining funds for further family memories.
