I'm extremely saddened to inform you that our good friend, Cedric, is in an immigration detention center in Houston, Texas, right now!

Cedric has been in the detention facility for nearly 6 weeks.

Saying that his close family is devastated would be an understatement.

Those of us who know him have been burdened with sadness, worry, survivor's guilt, emotional distress, and truly just overwhelmed... I don't have to tell you, Cedric is one of those people in our lives who has their own little spot, a little corner where you've got a different social battery and you don't have to worry about asking for help or talking about what's going on, you can tell just he's eager to make sure we've got our lives' chuggin' along, and he always keeps it a buck with you.

Cedric started 6th grade in Houston. Since then he has matured into a thoughtful, responsible, and hardworking young man. He is intelligent, respectful, and consistently dependable. Houston has been his home. Cedric played rugby, swam, and completed internship programs at Memorial High School; he is part of our community. He loves art and food. He loves cats and dogs.

Cedric will have to return to Argentina. Preparations for his return are being made, but right now, he is currently in a legal battle that will determine if he will ever be able to return to the United States of America. EVER.

Cedric needs our help.

We need your assistance to fund this last portion of this legal process so that one day Cedric may return to the U.S. Any money raised beyond the goal will be given to Cedric to help him and his fíancee, Sophia, when they arrive in Argentina.

Anything helps and with the Grace of God, our brother in Christ, Cedric , will return to United States of America and visit us, his family, community, and home-Houston, Texas.
