Hello!

My name is Archie. I was found on the streets of India in early September. Luckily, I was taken to a wonderful lady who runs a blind rescue and took very good care of me. She reached out to a friend in Minnesota, USA, who had lost a blind kitty early this year. And it was love at first sight, at least for her... because I can't see!

I was born with "anophthalmia" and have been blind since birth, but I didn't let that slow me down. I still learned how to play, snuggle, and purr just like any other cat! While I got comfortable with life off the streets, my rescuer and adopter did their best to try to get me a forever home. My rescuer named me Toto, so I was just waiting for my "No Place Like Home" moment!

We finally found a volunteer to travel with me from Mumbai to Los Angeles! My adopter then flew out to LA on 11/8 to pick me up and bring me to my forever home! I was on a plane for nearly 24 hours when all was said and done. I was exhausted, but as soon as I got to my new home, I was ready to explore and make friends.

I love it here in Minnesota, though it sure is colder than it was in India! But luckily, my mama loves to snuggle.

In the next couple of months, I will be going in for my double enucleation so that my eyes won't cause me any more pain or drama and get neutered so I won't cause any drama! :)

Many friends have reached out asking how to help, so we decided to start this GoFundMe to help ease the cost of this surgery. We got an estimate of almost $2000, so any little bit raised will help.
