Don Juan V's Sandwiches
Donation protected
***I did not realize that there are fees associated with the fundraiser, this is why we increased the amount. We are sorry and grateful for what has been donated.***
This week has been a rough week and foresee it to get harder. Unfortunately we have gone through some very hard times. Our mother was in a severe car accident so my father decided to close the restaurant to care for her. Running a small business restaurant takes a group of people and that group is our family. As our father was getting ready to prepare for our mother to come home he began feeling ill. Even though he took much precautions he started to get headaches, cold sweats and weakness in the body and no fever. He was not sure if it was just a cold or the flu. He immediately quarantined himself because he knew our mother was going to come home and he did not want to risk her getting worse. He went to Urgent Care and there they suggested that he should get tested for COVID19. Today we have found out that our father has been tested positive for COVID19 and now his symptoms are getting worse. We are saddened because he has always been the healthier one, the strong one, and the leader of the family.
Our parents are the ones that run the restaurant without them their is no Don Juan V's Sandwiches. My father is the only cook and my mother is his sidekick that keeps everything in check. So, to sum it up we will not be opening for a couple of weeks.
This is where we need your help, if you can. They have expenses coming up in which they don't have the funds for. They continued to keep the restaurant open during this pandemic just to make sure they can pay for those expenses and now they can't do that. We have helped somewhat but it is not enough. We are now asking for your help. Please help us keep our family business open. Any donation will be appreciated. We are glad that they are home and we can care for them. We hope that after they recover we will have the restaurant up and running. We love you guys, you are part of the family. We also understand if you are not able to help. Prayers, well wishes are also welcomed.
If their is any money left, we will donate it to the trauma team that cared for my mother.
Yours truly,
Paola, Adrian, Junior, Carolina and Oscar.
