Dolores Vazquez Cancer Treatment -MD Anderson

Hello All, We’ve set this GFM up for Dolores Vazquez and her family. On January 17, 2022, Dolores was diagnosed with Stage 4 Renal Cancer with Metastasis to her spine, cranial bone, hip, and legs. She has a total of 8 lesions being treated. She had kyphoplasty done in multiple areas due to cancer, having eaten her vertebrae in spots. Kyphoplasty is an application of cement to the spine. Her left hip is frail, and she has to take caution to prevent fracture. Treatment has given adverse effects, and she has had to stop treatment to let her kidneys recover. She is now being referred to MD Anderson for evaluation and continued treatment. The Vazquez's are a sweet, hardworking family. Since Dolores' diagnosis, she has not been able to work and moved in with her daughter and her family to save on expenses. At this point, the expense of fuel, food, parking, hotel and other needs will exceed their savings that they have already exhausted in the last 7 months. Lets come together and support the Vazquez's so this momma will have the peace to heal. Her son Jorge has moved back to help from TAMUCC and he and Alfredo will attend VC in the Fall to be close to home and help. Any amount helps. Please Share.
