Diaz Family Hurricane Harvey
Donation protected
My name is Jorge Diaz and my family and I are from the Chicago area. As many of you may already know, Hurricane Harvey left destruction in Southeast Texas for millions of families. Of the affected is my brother Alex Diaz, his wife Contessa & their 3 children Naomi, Yahaira and Giovanni. Alex and his family live in Beaumont, Texas one of the most affected cities hit by Hurricane Harvey.
No one can ever prepare for a natural disaster and Harvey didn't discrimate who it affected. Unfortunately, they've been left unable to work without any income coming in, no running water and left picking up the pieces of the aftermath left by Harvey.
We humbly ask you to help with any little bit so that they can get back on their feet. Whether it's $1, $5, $10, every little bit helps!
We are trying to gather as many donations as possible to send my brother's way so that they can purchase water, food, diapers, wipes and toilet paper.
Just yesterday they waited 4 hours in line to get water and groceries which are rationed out per family.
Once we have gotten as close to goal as possible we'll send notice to my brothers family so they can purchase the essentials needed to get through this nightmare until the water clears and they're able to return to work.
God bless everyone and we thank you for your prayers.
If anyone wishes to reach out please feel free to contact me or any of my siblings; Tere, Doris and my parents Martin & Martha.
Again, we thank you all so much for your help and may god bless you all!
