Hello!
My name is Devin Reilly and I am a first year medical student at Penn State College of Medicine in Heryshey, PA. Each March, my school sends a group of medical, nursing and physician assistant students to work as a team in Panama to better the health of those in need and this year, I have been selected to go! As students, we work with licensed physicians to provide free care, medication and education to people that, without our help, have extremely limited access to healthcare. This experience will also help me to gain a better understanding of international medicine, which will enhance my abilities as a physician in the future.

The $2000 I am asking for will cover the costs of my trip to Panama (airfair, ground travel, lodging and food) as well as the many immunizations required for the trip that are not covered by insurance (ie. yellow fever, typhoid fever, etc.). If I do not fundraise this money, I will have to add more loans onto my current student debt and I would be incredibly thankful for the opportunity not to do this.
