Detroit for Dad: Running 26.2 Miles for Lymphoma
Tax deductible
This October 16th, 2022, I'll be running the Detroit Free Press Marathon (my first marathon!) to benefit the Lymphoma Foundation Of America. Two years ago, my dad, George Bitsicas, passed away from Mantle Cell Lymphoma, and two years ago, I also started running, which quickly became a fantastic outlet for all of my grief and emotions. My father was born and raised in Detroit, and I couldn't think of a more perfect marathon to run in his honor than the Detroit Marathon, nor a more perfect charity to benefit. I'm ready to put all this training to use in the heart of the city I love to help a cause dear to me!
Want to join me in making a difference? Any donation will help make an impact. Research like this is what saves lives and what could have also saved my father's life. Thanks in advance for contributing to this cause, which means so much to me.
