Det. Jeffrey Sanchez medical expenses

I am a friend and a fellow brother in blue of Detective Jeffrey Sanchez. I'm setting up this fundraising account to assist Detective Sanchez with his medical expenses. On Sunday February 7, 2021 Detective Sanchez was off duty when he went to go pick up a pizza in East Chicago. After picking up the pizza he was shot multiple times by 2 subjects unknown to him. Detective Sanchez is currently in critical condition at a Chicago Area Hospital awaiting a 3rd surgery. Detective Sanchez is a 5 year veteran of the East Chicago Police Department and a father to 3 children ages 17, 13 and 10 years old. Once all the surgeries are complete he will have a long recovery ahead of him. My goal is to raise enough money to assist him with the medical expenses that medical insurance does not cover.
