Derek and Anita Hawley emergency fund

Derek and Anita have raised 4 kids together & have called Harney county their home. Derek has had a heart condition for the last 5 years and things have only been progressing. He came to an appointment with the intention of it only being a follow up but the Doctors decided to admit him following the check up. Anita and Derek are in Portland right now possibly looking at an extended stay. That puts Anita away from her job at Slater Elementary where she is adored and needed. Before Dereks heart condition was known, he was a wildland firefighter with A1 Firestorm. He is a total family man & puts his heart into his kids, their sports and all their activities. He's worked a majority of his life for the Burns Paiute Tribe. Derek is a proud man and would never ask for help unless absolutely needed.

Anita is very involved with her community and always willing to help out the school, the tribe and the kids. Lets show her that the community has her back in return. The family is going to need help covering expenses with the stay in Portland, food, gas, and also bills at home.
