Hi! I’m Averie, and Delta’s been my dog for just over 8 years

Delta came in to my life when I was in a really rough patch. I rescued her from a shelter in Atlanta in January 2018 to be an emotional support animal. And she’s just been the sweetest girl. From the day I brought her home we just connected, and nearly everyone she meets falls in love with her (and she falls in love right back!). She has such a good disposition that she eventually became a service dog! I can say for certain that Delta has saved my life more than once, and now it’s my turn to try to save hers.

Right around Christmas 2025, I noticed Delta’s head was lopsided. After taking her into the vet and a neurology specialist, it’s looking like Delta has a Trigeminal Peripheral Nerve Sheath Tumour.

To treat her, she’ll need an MRI, CSF analysis, and possible radiation therapy.

Just the MRI and CSF analysis is estimated to be $6,500. The radiation could be another $5,000 - $10,000.

The cost of her treatment is sadly more than I can handle on my own. But Delta has been my lifeline, and I just gotta do everything in my power to save her.
