A Day For Felicity Adams

Donation protected
The child of a longtime, dedicated Barrier employee is facing the fight of her life and we need your help. Jimmy
Adams is a crew foreman and probably worked on your project. He’s easy to spot as his prosthetic lower leg makes him unique among our family of employees.

Jimmy’s 10-year-old daughter, Felicity, desperately needs a new kidney. Felicity has endured a lifetime of chronic illnesses due to a genetic disorder known as Joubert Syndrome. Despite multiple surgeries and invasive treatments, Felicity currently requires daily dialysis and a feeding tube.

Even with these treatments, she continues to struggle and the need for a new kidney is urgent.

In addition to Felicity’s medical needs, Jimmy and his family are struggling to keep up with the financial strains of her care. Medical procedures, equipment and the electricity needed to run it has led to astronomical bills.

But there’s good news. You can help.

Barrier is excited to announce “A Day for Felicity” December 7. On this inspirational and aspirational day,
Barrier employees can support the family by donating to a trust account for Felicity’s care and the company is matching employee donations dollar for dollar.

Barrier vendors and clients are encouraged to participate as well.   We’ve set up a savings account and will place your donated funds and our employee and
company matching funds in that account for Felicity’s expenses.

Thank you for considering this opportunity to change Felicity’s life, and thank you for being a valued Barrier partner!

Sincerely,

Blair Cunnings, CEO
