Dawson Springs tornado survivors
Donation protected
This is my cousin Landa Williams, her daughter Bree and Bree’s children Jasper(4) and Carson(2) her baby girl. They lost their home, and nearly their lives when the storm hit Bree took her children to inner most room of the house, but the roof fell in on her and the tornado picked them up and threw them into a neighbor’s yard about 200 yards away. Some how Bree held on to her babies despite a head injury and a broken arm. Jasper has also suffered a head injury and broken bones in his pelvis. They are traumatized and beat up, but thank God alive. There is nothing left of the place they all called home but the rock around the foundation. They are displaced in a hotel as 75% of the town of Dawson Springs, Ky was destroyed. Landa is a care provider in a facility and Bree stays home as Jasper and his sister have special needs and limited resource availability in the area. As many of the folks in that area Landa had no insurance on her home or contents, any help to get them on their feet would be a huge blessing.
I thank everyone who has donated thus far and my family is so grateful, keep the thoughts and prayers coming as I know the next few weeks will be challenging.
