Davona Guzman Fighting For Her Life Fund

I never could have imagined that my family would be faced with this, but here we are.

My sister Davona Guzman, suffered an acute rare stroke on the evening of Monday January 22nd. On that night, she yelled for help as she suddenly couldn't feel the left side of her body, and collapsed. She quickly lost mobility, speech and control of her body and mind. Davona's case is extremely rare for two reasons 1.) She is only 30yrs old, very healthy and does not do drugs (most strokes take place in ages 55+) and 2.) The blood spot in her brain landed on the base of her spinal cord, which is inhibiting mobility and control on the left side of her body.

Davona is a mother, sister, daughter, and aunt. She is loved by many and is known for her strong personality, endless karaoke sessions and fun kitchen dance parties with her daughter. Friends and family know just how special she is.

The funds will be used to help cover medical bills, and to help support her personal finances during her recovery.
