Dare To Live - Herd - Wonderful Winter Appeal

I work with The Dare to Live Trust and our Herd of wonderful horses are at the centre of everything we do.
We deliver trauma-informed life skills programmes to Professionals and Carers where trauma has impacted their working/home life. We support Military Veterans, First Responders, NHS Frontline workers and Parent/Carers.
Our funded programmes are ongoing and we receive grants from military organisations, the National Lottery and other bodies. This money is used directly to benefit participants.
Winter brings a few months rest for our Herd but working conditions to maintain their care and wellbeing can be very challenging, particularly with increasing rainfall year on year.
We are establishing our new site and need flexible 'hard-standing' areas for feeding stations, shelters, large 'mud-free' zones, walkways/gateways etc.
MUDCONTROL Slabs are the answer! We have trialled these over the last winter and found them to be amazingly effective in even the boggiest of conditions.
We have self-funded two pallets to cover our immediate needs but are now aiming to expand on a large scale to provide our wonderful herd with safe, mud-free footing for their health and wellbeing throughout the difficult wet months (which seems to be all year round now!)
10 pallets of MUDCONTROL Slabs would give us 350 square metres of cover to provide a combination of safe walkways, hard-standing and emergency access across our new site. As the slabs can be lifted and moved and have a guarantee of 20 years(!) they are an incredible multi-use, long-term asset for the charity. They can be laid very quickly and they 'bed in' very securely. Grass can grow through them meaning they are rural site sensitive, low impact and maintain the natural aesthetic, whilst being incredibly robust.

Any money raised over our target will go towards further slabs or incidental costs of siting them, for example, it is strongly recommended that they are lightly covered with a layer of sharp sand when in use by horses/livestock, so we have added provision for 10, one tonne bags to this fundraiser as a start.
