Danielle, Ayla, and Newborn Amelia Emergency Funds
Donation protected
Hi everyone! My name is Kathryn McCullough and two (soon to be three) of my favorite people in the world are struggling and would appreciate any help!
My dearest friend Danielle Friedman is due with her beautiful baby girl Amelia Rae on June 8th, 2023. In October of 2022, Danielle was shocked yet so thrilled to find out she was expecting Miss Amelia and would be welcoming a second daughter into this world! Unfortunately when she was 4 months along, her husband incited an act of DA and vile verbal aggression on pregnant Danielle in front of her 6 year old daughter Ayla. Danielle made the strongest and bravest decision she could make and immediately filed an order of protection against her husband and filed for divorce. I am so proud that she took a step out in faith and did what was best for her and her girls and got them out of a toxic environment.
She has been walking this hard road as a 35 year old, pregnant, single mom the last few months with no financial support. Her pregnancy with her first daughter was extremely challenging as she has a bicornuate uterus and lost her daughter's twin due to the medical complications of growth restriction. Soon after Ayla's birth, Danielle was diagnosed with Graves' Disease and hyperthroidism. This has categorized her pregnancy with Amelia as extremely high risk and has caused multiple emergency room trips throughout the last few months.
Danielle and I have worked for the same restaurant company for over 5 years now and her sole income is earned as a hard-working server. Even with her high-risk pregnancy, she has pushed through and waited tables almost the entirety of her pregnancy. Over the last month of her pregnancy, she has been unable to work and remains on bedrest with no income now.
My coworkers and I were able to throw her a beautiful shower last month and gift her with most necessities for Amelia's arrival.
Being out of work the last month, and the next 6 weeks while she heals from her C-Section, has left Danielle in a dire financial situation. Anything to help her get through the next 2 months until she can return to work, would be a God-send. Thankfully the order of protection remains through Amelias birth and divorce proceedings, however the house is legally her husbands (purchased before they were married) and she knows her time is running out to secure a new residence for her and her babies. While Danielle is drowning with bills, car payments, grocery needs and finding a new place to live along with being a single mom to a 6 year old and newborn- LET'S HELP HER OUT! I don't know anyone more deserving than Danielle and her babies and any help at all to reach her goal is greatly appreciated!
