Help Dang Kim Loan's family paying medical bills

I have set up this fund for everyone to come together and contribute; even a small amount from each person will be of great spiritual value.

The mother of my best friend’s family suffered a stroke while travelling to visit her son on May 23, 2024. She experienced a brain hemorrhage that could neither be treated nor operated on, leaving the doctors helpless. After two days of treatment, the family had to make the heartbreaking decision to withdraw life support. Although she has passed away, the medical expenses for a tourist in Canada are very expensive. When the hospital bill was received, the cost for the two days of treatment amounted to 82,000 CAD, and the funeral expenses were an additional 5,000 CAD.

The family had purchased emergency travel insurance, but it only covers up to 50,000 CAD. Even with the combined savings of the father and son and contributions from everyone, they are still 20,000 CAD short of covering the medical expenses.
