Dana Wilmot's Road to Recovery

Donation protected
Dana and his family have known our family for over forty years.  He is the kindest, most genuine soul you will ever meet. He is devoted to God, his family and his church. On November 1, 2020, Dana was taken to the hospital after having  a dizzy spell, impaired vision, and balance issues. He was flown to Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte where they found that he had two strokes. Luckily they were able to catch the strokes fast enough that it was not fatal. The family is incredibly thankful for all of the prayers, text messages, phone calls etc as they feel that God heard your prayers for Dana. The stroke affected Dana's language and motor skills  and his ability to walk freely and must use a walker with additional assistance.
Dana has had debilitating after effects from the strokes.  He will have to have in home care and receive physical, occupational and speech therapy. If you know the Wilmot's you know that they are a tight family and always do for others. They are at every birthday party, wedding, shower and gathering. We want to be able to  to help Dana and Terri alleviate the financial stressors that they will incur in the coming weeks and months. We are hoping to be able to help with the immense about of medical bills as well as the loss of income. They are not sure when Dana will be back to his old self and be able to return to work.  Thank you again for all of your prayers, love and support for the family. Keep them coming!
