The Community Paramedic Integration Project (CPIP) is a Canadian nonprofit dedicated to improving healthcare access in underserved and rural communities across Sri Lanka. Our work focuses on preventive care, health education, and early intervention—meeting people where they are and strengthening community health through a grassroots, community-driven approach.
What Your Donation Supports
- Your contribution helps make this work possible by supporting:
- Preparation and launch of our pilot program in Northern Sri Lanka
- Community fundraisers and public engagement events
- Coordination of staff, interns, and volunteers
- Community partnerships and stakeholder engagement
- Equipment and medical supply procurement
- Travel and in-country coordination
- Outreach, education, and awareness materials
We are currently preparing to launch our pilot program in the Northern Province of Sri Lanka. While we continue working toward sustainable funding through grants and long-term partnerships, we rely on community support to keep our day-to-day operations moving forward and ensure we are operationally ready to launch.
Funds from this campaign support the essential behind-the-scenes work required to responsibly build and scale this initiative. To date, almost all expenses have been covered out-of-pocket by our executive team or through small, mission-specific fundraising efforts.
All donations are securely deposited into CPIP’s nonprofit account. We are committed to responsible stewardship of funds, ensuring transparency, accountability, and alignment with program delivery and community impact. This approach also strengthens our credibility as we pursue future grants and institutional funding.
Our goal is to prevent vulnerable individuals from slipping through the cracks and to serve as a bridge across gaps that exist within the current healthcare system in these communities.
This project means a great deal to me both professionally and personally. As a paramedic in Canada with roots in Sri Lanka, I have seen firsthand how access to healthcare can change lives—and how the lack of it can leave communities behind. CPIP was founded on the belief that, by working together, we can build something better. Your support helps turn that belief into action.
If you are able, we invite you to support this work or share this campaign within your network. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to a healthier and more equitable future in Sri Lanka.
