I am not sure you all have heard about Todd Reifschneider through others or FB. But for a 10,000 foot view, Todd has been fighting a botched gallbladder surgery for several months, which just recently turned septic and prognosis just keeps getting darker. Todd lives in Florida now and has two little kids he adopted. One child, Rush, has cystic fibrosis which requires expensive medicine and care. Todd’s wife Jaime stays at home to take care of the kids – Rush’s weak immune system prevents him from going to school and they don’t get to go out as easy. Because Todd has been so sick and in out of hospitals, Todd had to go on disability a few months ago and his income was cut more than half. Because of Rush’s medicine, it’s not easy for them to adjust their expenses and last night they decided to drive to a Mayo Clinic 6 hours away from their home. It’s a nightmare that they just have not been able to wake up from.
Todd’s wife started an online kids clothing store a while back and is really trying to use this as a way to get income. The website: http://www.sweetjanesclothing.com
In sharing this webstie with friends of Todd from gradeschool, there was a request for a gofundme account. I spoke with Todd's wife and she is so touched with the request. Money has gotten very very tight for them. They would never ask for help, but they need help. If you could consider shopping at Jaime's shop for Christmas or making a contribution to help them get through this rough time.
