School trip to the seaside

Hi there,

In year 5, we have big projects, we are learning about rivers, sustainability, recycling and we always want to discover more.

So we wondered, where do rivers end?

Some of us are extremely curious and already knew... in the SEA!

We realised that some of us did not know because they had never been there. This discussion planted the seed of our dream.

What if we could all go together to discover the mouth of a river, admire the sea, approach a new habitat and learn more about how to protect it.

For this project to happen, we need support. Two coaches would be required to take all of us to the south coast; once on-site, we would love to learn from professionals, but this has a cost.

The school budget is tight and our families are feeling the pinch. Could you help our pupils see the sea?
