Crystal's Birthday - Help Mum Through Recovery ❤
Donation protected
I've never done anything like this before, but here goes.
For my birthday this year, please no gifts or cards, instead a simple ''Happy Birthday" will do and a donation to help mum through her recovery. Of course no one is expected to donate, so please don't feel obligated.
My mum means the world to me! As most of you know, mum had her 1st heart attack in September 2019 which was a major one. Her 2nd heart attack in October 2019, which brought on heart failure. Mum's heart is only operating at 19%, she is going through a lot of tests hoping/waiting to get onto the heart transplant list. We are currently waiting for the pressure build up in her lungs to go away. We are hoping this new device she is trialling at present will help with this.
Mum cannot work, either can Jimmy who is now mum's full time carer. Even though they get concession now, it all still adds up.
- New medications weekly
- Travel to and from alfred hospital weekly
- Travel to and from physio reguarly
- Sleep apnea machine & mask monthly rental
- Not all appointments are covered as an outpatient
- If/when mum gets on that transplant list she will need to pay for accomodation close to the alfred for what could be weeks/months...
- Not to mention all other bills and expenses like the rest of us.
- The list goes on.....
The last thing mum needs is to be stressing about finances.
So please, if you wanted to give anything for my birthday, put it towards my mum's recovery. ❤
End date: My birthday 24th March
