Help Us to Create Pollinator Habitat in Downtown Oxford!

The Oxford Region Environmental Advisory Council (EAC) is partnering with the Brandywine Conservancy, the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay, and Penn State Extension Master Watershed Stewards to complete two projects in our downtown.

Our 3rd Street planting will rehabilitate the area that was planted just last year but was destroyed in the September 2023 fire. We will also be doing a new planting in front of the parking lot of the old bank building on Locust Street (across from the Post Office). These plantings will further the "lily pad" effect we are creating in the downtown to provide habitat for pollinators to move to and fro.

The Penn State Extension will be providing plants at their cost, for which the EAC will reimburse them. Please help by donating what you can!
