COSMOS Tuition Cost

My name is Chris Lopez. I'm reaching out and asking for a helping hand for my tuition for the program COSMOS. COSMOS is a residential STEM program that specializes in hands-on learning and study with professors. The program only selects a handful of the best students with the best potential to grow and become leaders. The program takes place in four of California's best Universities. The University I applied for is the University of California, Santa Cruz. The tuition would cover my housing, my education, food, and the many activities offered. Now I know your wondering, "why should I donate to you? " The only way I can demonstrate that is by telling you my success and true potential. I can first inform you about myself by telling you why I was chosen. My overall determination and resilience to the ever-changing world are why I was chosen. My 4.5 GPA in my sophomore year is another one of my many reasons. I'm a student-athlete and am actively involved in two clubs: College Club and ICan Club. Within these clubs, I help plan, organize and manage activities and events. They both share a central focus on face-to-face guidance and hands-on change in my local community. On top of this, I also was a member of a volunteer program Civil Air Patrol in freshman year. Civil Air Patrol, also known as CAP, is an Airforce auxiliary STEM program geared towards discipline and aviation science. For me, it was a beautiful way to get introduced to STEM and really solidify my goals in life. Throughout my freshmen year I started off really involved within my community and today I strive to continue this pattern until I cannot. I have until May 8th for the payment, any donation size is welcomed.
