Corrine Patterson's Memorial Fund

Our family was hit hard by the sudden loss of our beloved Corrine, who passed away Friday, April 20th, 2018. We thought it might just be pneumonia, but after seven days in the ICU with heart failure, her giant heart that loved us all stopped beating. At the end, she was held and loved and supported by her family, just as she did for us her entire life.
She spent seven full days in the Intensive Care Unit and had multiple procedures done on her heart throughout the week, along with specialty machines to keep her heart going. Corrine did not have health or life insurance, and we are unsure of the total cost of medical bills at this time. We are applying for assistance, but we fully expect the bills to exceed $50,000.
All the money raised here will go directly toward medical bills and end of life expenses.
Corrine’s unwavering candor, generosity, unconditional wholeheartedness, and love made us, and many people, who we are.
She had four children, and four grandchildren that she lovingly helped raise. Just a few weeks before passing, Corrine welcomed her newest grand baby Quinn into the world. We are heartbroken she will not be here to see Quinn grow and shower her with love.
The most common thing we heard over her last week is that she’s “the strongest person we know,” and anyone that knew her heart knew she was unique.
She told us on that last night, “I will be with you always. Listen for me.”
