Cora Abney cremation and memorial

My very good friend John Grundman and his sister Sarah have lost their mother, Cora. She passed unexpectedly in her hometown of Pomeroy, WA, just a day before Thanksgiving and a few days before John's birthday. He had a visit scheduled to see her the Friday following Thanksgiving. John is in Pomeroy now arranging Cora's cremation and final expenses, and he hopes to hold a memorial for her in the near future. Cora lived on a fixed income due to being disabled for much of her life and John is a college student in pursuit of his bachelors degree, so funds are extremely limited. I have set up this gofundme to help John and Sarah with the final expenses related to putting their beloved mother Cora to rest.

Cora was the most wonderful and unique person. No matter what life threw at her, she always had a big smile on her face (just like in the photo above). She was spunky and funny, and had the most exuberant laugh. You couldn't help but smile in her presence. She was like a second mom to many of John and Sarah's childhood friends. She will truly be missed by many.
